These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Shoyru's Addon Suite (the "Software"), a desktop application for managing add-ons for The Elder Scrolls Online ("ESO"), and the website at shoyru.app (the "Site"). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
1. Who we are
The Software and Site are operated by the developer of Shoyru's Addon Suite ("we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at support@shoyru.app.
2. The Software
Shoyru's Addon Suite helps you discover, install, update, organize, and remove third-party add-ons for ESO on Windows. It is offered as:
- Free tier — browse the ESOUI catalog, install, update (including "Update All"), and remove add-ons, at no cost, with no ads.
- Pro tier — additional convenience features (such as AI-powered "Describe" search, automatic dependency installation, auto-update on launch, profiles, backups, multi-PC sync, custom categories, and themes), available by paid subscription or one-time purchase.
3. Add-ons are third-party content
The Software is an add-on manager. The add-ons it helps you install are created and owned by their respective authors and are hosted by third parties (such as ESOUI). We do not create, own, endorse, or guarantee any add-on, and we are not responsible for add-on behavior, safety, or compatibility. Your use of any add-on is subject to that add-on's own terms and to ZeniMax Media's Add-on Terms of Use for ESO.
Not affiliated. Shoyru's Addon Suite is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ZeniMax Media Inc., Bethesda Softworks, or the developers of ESO. "The Elder Scrolls Online" and related marks are the property of their respective owners.
4. Pro purchases and billing
Pro is sold through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. Payment, invoicing, and tax are handled by Lemon Squeezy under their terms.
- Free trial. Monthly and Annual plans include a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan begins and you are charged the listed price.
- Subscriptions. Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.
- Founder's Lifetime. A one-time purchase that does not renew and grants Pro features for the life of the product, subject to these Terms.
- Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods. Changes do not affect a one-time purchase already made.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a subscription at any time from within the app or via the customer portal link in your purchase receipt. If you cancel during a free trial, you will not be charged. For refund requests, contact us at support@shoyru.app or contact Lemon Squeezy; refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with Lemon Squeezy's policies and applicable law.
6. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for your own use. A Pro license is bound to your device(s) for activation purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, or share your license key; reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with licensing or the Software except to the extent permitted by law; or use the Software to infringe any third party's rights.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Software or Site for any unlawful purpose, to disrupt or overload our services, or to circumvent security or licensing controls. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Software and Site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any add-on installed through it will function correctly with ESO.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or game progress, arising from your use of the Software or any add-on. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Software will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Software at any time and uninstall it. We may suspend or terminate the Software or your license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 3, 6, 8, 9, and 11) survive termination.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
