This Privacy Policy explains what information Shoyru's Addon Suite (the "Software") and the website at shoyru.app (the "Site") collect, how we use it, and your choices. We designed the Software to collect as little as possible: it has no ads, no third-party advertising trackers, and does not collect your ESO gameplay data or account credentials.
1. Information we collect

2. How we use information
- To provide and maintain the Software (catalog, installs, updates).
- To validate Pro licenses and prevent abuse of paid features.
- To process purchases (via Lemon Squeezy) and provide support.
- To operate the AI "Describe" search (Pro) and improve result quality.
- To notify macOS waitlist subscribers, if you opted in.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the product:
- Lemon Squeezy — payments and subscription management (Merchant of Record).
- GitHub — hosting app downloads and update files.
- ESOUI — the source of the add-on catalog and downloads.
- Our licensing backend and AI providers — for license validation and, if you use it, the AI "Describe" search.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the security of our services.
4. Data retention
We keep license and purchase records for as long as needed to provide the Software, honor entitlements, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Waitlist emails are kept until the macOS version launches or you ask us to remove you. Search queries are retained only as long as needed to operate and improve the feature.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (e.g., the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@shoyru.app. You can also unsubscribe from the macOS waitlist at any time, and uninstall the Software to stop all local processing.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect information, including hashing device identifiers and relying on established providers (Lemon Squeezy, GitHub) for payments and distribution. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Software is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International users
Our providers may process and store information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app.
